![]() ![]() The waiting is over, the time is now, and the highly anticipated release of Amarra 4 is here! Sporting a new User Experience and the Great Sound that only Sonic Studio can provide. I should of bought Audirvana but the cheapo in my went with Amarra due to off saleĪnyone have any useful tips that uses it! Also anyway I can return this POS! It’s only been less than 12 hours.Sonic Studio Releases Amarra 4 High-resolution Music Playback Application. So in short I think this software sucks amd I just paid for it. I thought Amarra Luxe handled MQA conversion. Also what’s with having to pay to use eq through the AMARRA Play iOS App and also MQA. Audirvana gave you many options on upcomvert if should you want to like crossing power of twos and such. It seems it does it for you and I was getting I think 176kjz or something. I see option for up convert however no way to change how you want to upcomvert. Only features I saw was a buffer rate or sample number to choose which I have zero clue about and it doesn’t give you hints or explain it really and I have a Topping D50S and am running USB to it. I know Amarra supports tidal and Qobuz but not Apple Music or Deezer or anyone else for that matter correct? Also compared to Audirvana I feel like this is really lacking in the device setting and features. I had tried Amarra however at time didn’t have time to really test it well due to circumstance. Audirvana which wasn’t as good as Roon but pretty good for streaming Tidal and Qobuz and using the remote iOS app to control the Mac. I am coming from trying Roon which I loved but way overkill for me and expensive. Subreddit's theme is /r/Minimaluminiumalism.
